For many of you, learning online was never a part of your plan when you registered as a Hanson student. As a result of COVID-19, you may be finding yourself in a new territory as you adjust to attending classes through Zoom. Check out the study techniques below to boost your productivity and academic performance!

Guide to Online Learning: If you’re feeling like you need a little more direction in how to effectively study online, check out The Learning Portal’s guide and study techniques to online learning. Here are some of the activities you can do to improve your online learning experience: 

  • Take a quiz to find out how ready you are for online learning
  • Improve your computer skills with Office 365
  • Learn how to do an online presentation

Online Libraries: When you need to do research for an assignment, don’t forget about the EBSCO libraries you have access to as a Hanson student! 

Note-Taking: Taking notes in class helps you to focus and better understand the information you are receiving. Not only that, your notes can also be used as a study guide for your exams.
