Hanson College is here to support students with settlement services who will be traveling to Canada during the COVID-19 period. There are travel restrictions, pre-arrival regulations, and post-arrival policies currently in place, and we are here to ensure these are all adhered to in a safe, secure, and comfortable way. 

International students arriving in Canada must undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine period. Hanson Settlement Services will help make this period comfortable and secure for our students. 

What to expect from Hanson Settlement Services: 

  • Booking of hotel and transport services 

  • Staff support throughout quarantine 

  • Transportation from the airport to the quarantine location 

  • Private suite at a hotel 

  • Grocery and/or meal delivery services 

  • Additional supports including counselling and health resources, 3 weekly check-ins, phone plan activation, bank account set-up, S.I.N. set-up, post-quarantine settlement resources 

Important Travel Documents 

Here is a list of documents you will need during your trip and when you enter Canada. Make sure these are with you and not packed in checked luggage.

  • Passport 

  • Confirmation of Visa Approval 

  • Letter of Acceptance (LOA) 

  • Confirmation of Payment (COP) 

  • Support Letter issued by Hanson College 

  • Quarantine Plan details (provided by Hanson College)
